Submitting App to App Store
When submitting your app to the App Store, you have to describe how your app uses IDFA:
1. Serve advertisements within the app.
GetSocial SDK does not use it to serve ads, although you might be serving ads through another provider.
2. Attribute this app installation to a previously served advertisement.
GetSocial SDK uses IDFA for install attribution and fraud detection. Please check this box.
3. Attribute an action taken by this app to a previously served advertisement.
GetSocial SDK uses IDFA for reengagement attribution. Please check this box.
4. iOS Limited Ad Tracking.
GetSocial SDK fully complies with Apple requirements:
Check the value of this property before performing any advertising tracking.
If the value is NO, use the advertising identifier only for the following purposes:
- frequency capping
- conversion events
- estimating the number of unique users
- security and fraud detection
- debugging
GetSocial SDK uses IDFA only for: “conversion events, estimating the number of unique users, security and fraud detection”.
Warning
Some of your other providers might have different uses for the IDFA.
You need to make sure that these providers fully comply with this section.
